How MyFuel uses your data and the choices available to you.
This website
Only with your permission, Google Analytics measures visits, source categories and actions on the MyFuel website and in the app. The choice is shared in this browser; change it at the bottom of the website or in app Settings. Ad personalization is disabled. Fonts and screenshots are served with the website.
Your account and records
The app uses Google sign-in. Account details (identifier, email and the name provided), vehicle details, fill-ups and other expenses are stored using Google Firebase so you can access your records across devices. One MyFuel administrator can inspect records for maintenance and product research.
Optional photos
Enter values manually and optionally attach a camera or gallery photo to the record. Smaller copies are saved in private Google Cloud storage in Belgium (EU); the MyFuel administrator can also view them. New photos are not sent for AI scanning. Photos submitted for scanning previously remain subject to the Google retention terms disclosed at that time: temporary copies up to 24 hours and content flagged for security review up to 90 days. Account deletion does not erase those provider copies.
Your choices
App usage analytics require your consent, which you can change in Settings. MyFuel does not send record values, account identity or free text to analytics. Your browser stores data needed for sign-in and app operation, along with language and consent preferences.
Removing your data
In Settings, you can permanently delete your account and its operational data, including saved photo attachments. Photos can also be removed individually. For access, corrections or other privacy questions, contact us at the email address below.
Who can see your data
One administrator can access records and photos for maintenance and product research. Up to two authorized administrator accounts can see account emails, registration dates, vehicle setup status, record counts and the creation time of the latest retained record. This is separate operational reporting, independent of optional analytics consent.
Photo retention
Local previews are used only in the open draft. Unsaved photo uploads expire after 24 hours and are then removed by hourly cleanup; failed cleanup is retried. Confirmed photos and thumbnails remain until the photo, record or account is removed. Removing a photo does not change saved values.
Account retention and deletion
Account, vehicle and journal data remain while you use your account or until you delete them. Deletion in Settings removes operational data, photos and the sign-in account. Failed cleanup stays pending and is retried. A technical deletion-control record is removed at least 24 hours after completion. Anonymous daily registration and deletion counts, without account references, remain for 12 months.
Your browser and analytics
Your sign-in session and language, consent and opening preferences may persist in your browser. App files are cached; journal data uses memory only, with no offline write queue. Google Analytics starts only if you allow it. It processes usage events and technical browser and device information, including analytics identifiers. MyFuel does not send your account identity, record values, photos or free text. You can withdraw consent in Settings; this stops further collection but does not itself erase earlier data.
Your rights and help
Email info@myfuel.lt about access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction or objection to processing. The application of these rights depends on the processing basis. You can complain to Lithuania’s State Data Protection Inspectorate or the supervisory authority where you live.
